Meet the artist

Less line.
More imagination.

Honey has been painting and drawing all her life—raised by a musician and artist mother and a father who was a storyteller at heart.

After a long and creative teaching career, Honey now works as a full-time artist and illustrator. Inspired by Japanese sumi-e, she uses ink, watercolour, blocks of colour and the fewest possible strokes to leave room for the viewer's imagination.

Her work records the humour, beauty and everyday experiences of life in the Clarence Valley—real art, made by hand, with no two pieces ever quite the same.
